How to get to the Kirchenwirt

by car

Travelling over the Fernpass or from Innsbruck to Landeck-Zams, continue in the direction of the Reschenpass and on the Reschen-bundesstraße federal highway to Prutz, turning left into the Kaunertal.

Travelling from the south via the Reschen-pass, take the Reschenbundesstraße federal highway to Prutz and turn right into the Kaunertal.

The Kaunertal state road takes you directly to Feichten, the main village of our valley community. It is easy to find us there. This is because our name in the German language, "Kirchenwirt", suggests that we are located right next to the church - in the centre of the village.

by bus and train

The nearest railway station is located in Landeck-Zams. Located approx. 25 km from the Kirchenwirt.

Pick-up service:

We would be happy to pick you up from the train station in Landeck-Zams for a service charge of €45.00 per journey.

by plane

Innsbruck airport is approx. 100 km away
Munich airport approx. 210 km
Zurich airport approx. 300 km

Looking for some time away from the car?

If you feel like it, you are more than welcome to leave your car with us for the duration of your stay. There are numerous hiking possibilities directly from the hotel. The skiing and hiking buses transport you to the mountain and glacier world of the rear Kaunertal and to the glacier ski resort every day. The bus stop is located right in front of our hotel. Many of our guests, however, love exploring the wonderful panoramic road themselves by car, motorbike or in a more sporty way by cycling.

Our tip for a smooth journey:

Time and again, our guests are guided by their digital route planners over the Piller, a somewhat remote, winding mountain road between the Pitztal and Kaunertal. Coming from the Fernpass and Innsbruck it may indeed be the "shortest route", but it is not the fastest.

We recommend the route via Prutz. Please also keep in mind that you need a toll sticker for the Landeck tunnel and the autobahn.
